a crazy couple who have decided to throw caution to the wind and embark on an exhilarating adventure around the world. If you know us you know we love good food, anime marathons, have some bookworm tendencies, and a deep passion for hiking and exploring museums. But let's get real for a moment—
For us, the decision to embark on what we are calling Our Epic Babymoon has been a long time coming. With five years of marriage and nearly eight years of being together, we've always had a shared dream of traveling the world. But as life unfolded and the pandemic threw unexpected challenges our way, those dreams were put on hold.
However, amidst the chaos, we came to a realization—we were ready to start a family. It was in that moment of clarity that we knew if we didn't seize the opportunity to travel now, we might never have another chance. So, with excitement tinged with a hint of nervousness, we took a leap of faith, saying goodbye to the familiar and embracing the unknown. As we embark on this much-anticipated adventure, we carry with us the joy of knowing that we're not only fulfilling our dreams but also creating a strong foundation for the future we've always envisioned.

After a lot of prayer and deep conversations, we decided it was time to stop talking and starting doing! So, with hearts racing and butterflies in our stomachs, we made a bold pact right on our cozy couch—to quit our jobs and set off on an epic adventure before starting a family. Let's just say, the wanderlust bug had bitten us hard!
The day we handed in our resignations, the reactions ranged from shock to admiration. Some called us crazy, but deep down, we knew this was our moment. It was time take a break and dive headfirst into the unknown, ready to explore, learn, and grow in ways we never thought possible.
Chapter 2: Embracing the Road Less Traveled
As we started planning our grand adventure, we knew we wanted to share our extraordinary journey. That's when the idea of starting a blog took root. Using social media to keep up with friends and family was a must, so we decided why not made it more that just a facebook or instagram? We created this website as a place where we could showcase our stories, share travel hacks, and, most importantly, chronicle our food escapades. After all, what's an adventure without indulging in mouthwatering delicacies along the way?
After a friend called our adventure “the longest babymoon known to man,” we settled on the perfect name for our blog: "Our Epic Babymoon." It captures the essence of this pre-family adventure, where we'll create memories that will be cherished forever.

So — on June 1, 2023 we embarked on our journey. After packing our bags, we bid adieu to our house, our trusty coffee mugs, and the comfortable. From now on, the world becomes our office, and spontaneity becomes our guiding principle.
